Background
and Information ABOUT THE ELIGIBILITY Background: This program was created as a
community outreach effort to financially assist students pursuing
an education for any career associated with the health care or public
health fields. The scholarships were established, and are sponsored,
by Kaiser Permanente's Multicultural Associations/Employee Resource
Groups. Our hope is to have an impact on the shortage of diverse
health care & public health professionals, and the future delivery
of culturally competent care & service. All qualified students
may apply, including
those students who identify as one or more of the following: African-American,
Asian Pacific, Latino, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex,
Native-American and/or as a Person with a Disability. All application materials must be received no later than

APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. Applicant must: Be a graduating high school senior or GED recipient entering post secondary
school (e.g. college, technical school); OR Be an active, full-time graduate or doctoral level student (e.g. graduate school, medical school, nursing school, etc.); Have a minimum high school or post
secondary GPA of 2.7 or GED Score of 520; Be a CRITERIA EVALUATED Applications
