In addition to providing high-quality medical care, our physicians enjoy a practice that is conveniently located to schools, affordable housing, diverse communities, and an abundance of recreational activities. The majority of our physicians are board-certified in their medical specialty and many hold academic appointments at the University of California, San Francisco and Stanford University. Kaiser Permanente is dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our members and the communities that we serve. Kaiser Permanente awards community service grants, donates surplus equipment, provides volunteer services and medical expertise, and collaborates with numerous community organizations. The Fremont Medical Center has partnerships with many local non-profit organizations who share their commitment to the well-being of our diverse community population, such as the Project Eden Lambda Youth Group, Ohlone College Foundation, LIFE ElderCare, Inc., Shelter Against Violent Environments, and the Tri-City Health Center. The award-winning Educational Theatre Program sponsored by Kaiser Permanente offers free school performances to address the issues our youth face in today's environment.
